# Changelog

All notable changes to RideX (backend, admin panel, Rider and Driver apps) are listed here.

## 1.0.0 – 2026-10-05

Initial release.

- **Backend and admin panel** (Laravel 12, PHP 8.4.1+): phone OTP, Firebase and social login; driver KYC with document review; upfront pricing with surge, zones, rentals and outstation rides; sequential or broadcast dispatch; live tracking with Firebase and a polling fallback; wallet, four payment gateways configured from the admin panel, tips, withdrawals, incentives and referrals; SOS, in-ride chat, ratings, support tickets and lost & found; role-based admin panel with a live map, admin accounts and a role editor, a zone map editor, promo codes, a translatable CMS, reports with CSV, Excel and PDF downloads and a print-ready page, and an activity log; push campaigns, emails for trips, payments and account events, a Languages page, a minimum app version (force update), and device security checks (freeRASP) that flag compromised phones or keep them from driving and payouts; API messages, notifications and emails in English, Arabic, Spanish, French and Bengali; a web installer for hosts without a terminal.
- **RideX Rider and RideX Driver apps** (Flutter): the full ride flow for both sides. Riders find a destination by search or by moving a pin on the map, and book instant, scheduled, rental and outstation rides, for themselves or someone else, with a note for the driver. Drivers manage several vehicles, see surge zones on the map and can set a destination (e.g. home) to get only trips heading that way. Ride updates and chat messages pop up as notifications, also while the app is open; the trip screen posts them from the live ride feed, so they appear even without push. Both apps offer phone sign-in (a searchable list of every country's calling code; server or Firebase codes, one box per digit), Google and Apple sign-in, account deletion and a force-update screen, with the sign-in token in the Keychain / Android Keystore, HTTPS-only release builds and optional certificate pinning, in English, Arabic (right-to-left), Spanish, French and Bengali.
